The story begins with an archeological team exploring an ancient settlement. There are several participants in that group. During the excavation, two members of the group, who are cousins, accidentally discover the tunnel leading to the old vault, where they find a very old bronze box full of jewels that represent a treasure of incredible value. However, this is not an ordinary treasure; this is a sensitive treasure, and it has its fate; whoever touches it, unintentionally gets involved in that treasure's sensitive "game", develops strange behavior, and cannot control their wishes and actions. The treasure itself prompts the surrounding people with its rules, although, as it becomes clear, this prompt cannot be considered a good purpose. The treasure moves from person to person, and every person who owns this treasure at a certain stage tries to hide and possess it. The chief of the archeological group also gets involved in that game; the treasure comes into his hands completely by accident.

One of the group's members is the main character, Dima. Dima is gifted with a special ability of clairvoyance. He proudly considers himself an extraordinary person, and his surrounding people dislike him for this. They watch his behavior and, behind his back, laugh at him. Dima's pride annoys his own wife too, but in different ways from other people; she tries to turn Dima into an ordinary person by using adultery. She deliberately is unfaithful to him with those people who especially dislike Dima for his extraordinary talent, and are mercilessly hostile to him. Dima feels the viciousness of those surroundings, and because he is unable to take revenge, he finds an alcohol solution.

This story talks about a never–solved question that every human asks themselves, although this question remains unanswered. This question is: why do we come into this world, and what is waiting for us after death?
