This fact proves that Christ's warning is true. Let no preacher deceive you! A good sermon based on God's Word includes scriptures from the Bible, with chapter and verses!
After hearing a sermon, you should check to see if the verses were used out of context. If you don't, you are actually betting that what you heard is true. But maybe it isn't. Maybe he or she doesn't really know what the truth is.
False prophets always use scripture out of context to promote their own version of their religion. They twist the meaning of each verse so they can imply their own meaning and deceive believers. Have you ever been lied to? How did you feel after you found out? Have you ever lost a bet? How about a sports bet? How about a bet between you and the devil? Don't bet your soul on maybes!
