Memories! Doug (D. K. Olson) was born on July 12, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. He was around one year of age when the first of his 22 moves was made...and his unwitting journey around CHICAGOLAND began, as did this book series! A pictorial person identifies places or locations through pictures formed in their minds. The author has made a point to describe pictures in this book, particularly with locations, so you can picture yourself there––especially inside all the homes. Doug personally and vividly remembers conversations verbatim from the past, and therefore, you can be certain that what he shares he firmly stands by and that it is genuine. Furthermore, the author hopes that in these true stories, the reader can see themselves as they reflect upon their own life experiences.
