This book came the night after my last grandparent's life was celebrated; Grandma GG was one hundred plus. Sitting alone in the Hampton Inn Hotel, I jotted down things learned from all four of my grandparents. I was fortunate enough to know all of mine into adulthood; the men didn't teach us as long as the grandmas did here on earth. This “book†is meant simply for the generations of family after us to know our grandparents through my eyes. Each teaching moment can be a separate short bedtime book or bound together and divided into chapters. Each chapter has the wonderful values my grandparents left for us. There are many other aspects of life impacted by our grandparents that could be written, but this is a good place to start for others to know just how much we all learned from, admired, respected, and loved our grandparents.Harley is the main character of the stories. She is a Xolo (Mexican hairless) puppy my wife and I adopted on October 5, 2020. The other characters are fluid but fun. This is a list of some of the things our grandparents taught us whether on purpose or not: hard work, love, patience, serenity, have fun/live in the moment, pray, go out with a bang, protect and help others, be strong, love God, tough love, respect self and others, healthy living, fishing, woodworking, golf.
