Growing up, her grandmother told her stories about the police force, which became the foundation for the 'Ghost and a Cop' series. A horror film, Voodun, based on Hazzard Avenue, was completed in 2023. Jan has also written and produced a horror film, Lost Lake, in the summer of 2023.
