It is also about the love that her son had for his mom and being sorry for his mistake in life and letting her and his loved ones down, and I think we all make mistakes for which we are sorry.
I would like to think of it as a lovely presentation of my real son, but I also hope that things are learned about the terrifying world he lived in that, fortunately, most people don't experience and have no knowledge of what goes on. I believe he faced it with great strength simply because of his faith and trust in God to get him through. There is no point or agenda, just our story.
