Her days were made up of struggling with the pain that her body had been plagued with most of her life. She had placed herself on the donor list in the hope that the discovery of her desmoid tumors or any of her other ailments would find a cure. No family history recorded with these diseases. Her medical tragedies started at an early age when she was a teenager. Her first tumor appeared in her spinal column. It took ten years for the big discovery of a massive layout of desmoid tumors in all her muscles on the front area of her body. Her surgery to remove her muscle mass and replace it with a sheet of Marlex took twelve hours.Her wishes were that this book would be an informative biography of a person who had undergone surgeries necessary or not necessary. To help in being educated in asking the correct questions before allowing the doctors to perform their decisions on what you should allow them to do with your body.
