The title of my book came about after teaching a young girls’ Sunday school class. We studied strong and influential women in the Bible. When I retired, I really wanted to teach a women’s Bible study. After several years, that did not come to fruition. I woke up early one Sunday morning, and the thought came to me: “Write a book about strong and influential women in the Bible.” I had never thought about writing a book. I immediately googled Christian publishing companies. I immediately saw Christian Faith Publishing and sent an email explaining that I would like to write a book. By Sunday morning, I had received an email back thanking me for contacting the company and that someone would call me Monday morning. I received that phone call on Monday morning, and the rest is history! This book was meant to be!
With God’s help, I tried to relate how modern-day women face some of the same trials that early biblical women faced. Those early biblical women remained strong as women today remain strong. Don’t ever doubt the strength of a woman, especially when she is determined to succeed no matter the obstacle. I pray that reading this book will give hope to those who are in need of hope. Hope comes through the forgiving grace of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
I encourage men to also read this book. I believe you will learn a lot that you did not know about women of old, as well as women today.
