Sunday Morning in the Preacher's House is about three young warriors who later become soul mates in a place they believed at first to be the perfect world. They believed it was a dream, for all the things they could not do at home they could do here in Country. Like Brother Doctor Luke, the Gospel writer, Prodigal Son, their dream turned into a nightmare. From that nightmare the three bonded. Although their backgrounds were uniquely different, they became one soul, mainly because of their hostile environment. We will sit next to each of them on their flight, feeling their uncertainties as they return home. The three of them have their own personal road of Damascus experience to learn that there is one greater than them. With this newfound knowledge of a Universal Spirit, they still stumble in the wilderness, the backbone of Palestine. The crime they commit is the violation of the eighth commandment.
