Were you successful or not?The issues of incarceration entail all the above, especially for incarcerated of women. Most incarcerated men are great actors; you would never know how they are handling incarceration, even if you inquire. Incarcerated women are not good actors.Of course, there is low self-esteem, but loss of freedom and control of their lives and temporary loss of family and friends have a different effect on incarcerated women than incarcerated men.Most are pretrial and plagued by guilt and sorrow. The women of C-Dorm struggle for a chance to find a new way of life.
