You just experienced the strangest phenomena this world has ever seen when over one billion people disappeared in a single moment. You and 50 percent of Christian’s worldwide now find yourselves called the left behind. Even more disturbing, through faith you believed, thought you were in the right place, the correct time for your eternal flight home, but found when you arrived, your departure gate was already closed. Despair is starting to feel like your new best friend, but hang on, you were not given the correct flight information. Your scheduled flight has been shortly delayed, but you have also been upgraded to the “chosen” class.
Up to this point, theology has concluded the rapture will only occur one time, either pre-, mid-, or post-Tribulation. There is a big problem with teaching there is “only one rapture,” and that is scripture itself. And no, it is not simply a timing issue:
• There will be a 1st rapture with over a billion people, 15 percent of the world’s population disappearing in a single moment in time.
• There is a 2nd rapture clearly stated and detailed in God’s Holy Word,
• And there will be a final rapture when the Lord gathers all His elect in heaven together at the very end of the Tribulation.
Just as the Lord chastised religious leaders of His day for failing to recognize the signs and the time of His first coming, today eschatology has failed to recognize the Lord’s full plan for every one of His elect, even for the very ones this world has currently written off as unworthy and named the “left behind.”
