I grew up going to church learning about mainly male figures in the Bible like Paul, Peter, Daniel, Job, Jonah, etc. I remembered learning about Eve, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and a few other women. Then I started thinking there are more women than that in the Bible. As I started counting how many women there are in the Bible, I realized these women were important to our biblical history, and we have much to learn from them. So I started to research these women. I had this feeling that I am not the only woman who would like to know more about these women. So, after researching these 136 ladies, I decided that would be enough for us to learn about at one time. This Bible study focuses on women of the Old Testament of the Bible. The plan is to follow up with about 52 ladies from the New Testament.
